This site is a collection of essays concerning whatever I feel the need to write about at the time, mostly matters of politics, social interaction, spirituality, and human existence.

I find writing about issues that either interest me or concern me directly to be an enjoyable hobby that allows me to share with the world my thoughts on particular matters.  It is, I suppose, also a form of self-therapy, as we are all recovering from the common experience of human suffering, each at his own pace.

I view the world through the lenses of logic and reason, and I apply these lenses to all people with whom I come into contact, all philosophies to which I am exposed, and all situations or events I either personally experience or simply observe.  There is no discrimination on my part: I judge the entire world based on these two criteria.  That means that it is inevitable that I make people mad if I publicly state my opinion.  I will make conservative religious zealots angry for describing their deity as nothing more than a myth invented to be a kind of security blanket; and I will make progressive liberals mad and have my words labeled “hate speech” for stating that the main problem with the Black community is the fact that Black men have caused a seventy percent illegitimacy rate in their race and have not lived up to their responsibilities as men.  Both of these statement are the true, but people don’t want to hear the truth because it hurts so much to do so.

Therefore, the fact that I own a business in Memphis which serves the public, means that I have to remain an anonymous blogger.  I am well known in the community I serve, and people would be upset over the fact that I criticized their attachments.  I would end up losing business.  I simply cannot have.

Anyway, the essays I have posted are listed under various categories, and there is also a search box.  Have at it and have fun! : )
